Choose one:

  • Help clean a pool, fountain, birdbath, or other permitted water feature using the owner's normal safe maintenance routine.
  • Learn three basic facts about keeping recreational water clean and explain them to another Ranger before anybody gets in.
  • Spend time at a pool or shoreline and practice leaving the water area cleaner and tidier than you found it.

Choose one:

  • With a grown-up, help skim leaves or tidy the area around a pool or other safe water feature.
  • Learn three pool-safety rules and teach them back to a grown-up in your best Creature Pete voice.
  • Make a paper sign for Creature Pete's imaginary pool containing one sensible rule and one rule meant specifically for monsters.
