Bat Spirit Badge

Bat Spirit Badge

Bats are tiny night mammals with wings, excellent navigation, and a longstanding public-relations problem. The Bat Spirit Badge is for Monster Rangers willing to appreciate them without requiring them to become vampires first.

Ranger Fact: Bats are mammals, not birds, and different species eat everything from insects to fruit and nectar. Actual bat business is interesting enough.

Details: Woven cloth badge, about an inch across. Iron-on backing (though stitching is sturdier).

Point Value: Worth 10 Glory Points toward your Monster Rangers badge collection.

“Night Navigation” — Once per session, orient yourself surprisingly well in darkness, tunnels, or another place where ordinary visual landmarks are poor.
