Ghost Beer Spirit Badge

Ghosts and Phantoms enjoy a good beverage, particularly Ghost Beer and Ghost Root Beer. The Ghost Beer Spirit Badge honors the ancient Ranger custom of sitting down with something cold and conducting extremely serious beverage research.

Levels: There is just one level of the Ghost Beer Spirit Badge.

Ranger Fact: Beer is for Rangers 21 and older. Root beer has fewer paperwork requirements and remains entirely acceptable.

Point Value: Worth 10 Glory Points toward your Monster Rangers badge collection.

HOW TO EARN THIS BADGE

Choose one:

  • Sample three different beers if you are legally allowed to drink, or three root beers or other sodas if you are not drinking alcohol.
  • Do a blind taste test of three safe beverages and attempt to identify them without peeking.
  • Share a favorite beverage with another Monster Ranger and compare tasting notes of wildly unnecessary seriousness.

Jr. Monster Rangers

Choose one:

  • With a grown-up, taste-test three root beers, sodas, juices, or other kid-friendly drinks.
  • Invent a spooky drink using ordinary nonalcoholic ingredients and give it a ghostly name.
  • Design a label for a bottle of imaginary Ghost Root Beer.

Secret Power (for the Monster Rangers RPG)

“Phantom Refreshment” — Once per session, sharing a drink gives two characters a brief moment to collect themselves and speak calmly. Even ghosts understand the value of refreshments.
